China's Zhiwen (Daniel) Zhao made his country's debut at the Longines FEI World Cup today (Friday 25 March), riding the borrowed horse Pommeau de Heup in the first round of the competition.

He picked up four faults to record a time of 87.07 seconds, finishing the round in 29th place. Despite the result though he was clearly delighted to be representing his country in the competition for the first time.
