The Netherland's Harrie Smolders was third in the second round of Longines FEI World Cup jumping in Gothenburg tonight (Saturday 26 March).

Riding Emerald N.O.P. Smolders completed the jump off of the competition in 39.18 plus four faults to finish behind second placed Denis Lynch from Ireland (41.42) and winner Germany's Christian Ahlmann.

Following his 11th place in the first round of the competition tonight's results puts Smolders in third place overall ahead of the final and deciding round of the competition on Monday (28 March).
