The Netherlands' Hans Peter Minderhoud won the Reem Acra FEI Dressage World Cup in Gothenburg today (Sunday 27 March).

In front of a packed crowd Minderhoud rode Glock's Flirt to score 82.357%in the second-round freestyle competition to take the title, ahead of Sweden's Tinne Vilhelmson Silfven on Don Auriello (81.429%) and Germany's Jessica Von Bredow-Werndl on Unee BB (80.464%).

The win is Minderhoud's first after six World Cup appearances, and the 13th for The Netherlands in the 31-year history of the competition.
