Switzerland's Steve Guerdat retained his Longines FEI World Cup Jumping title in Gothenburg this afternoon (Monday 28 March) in front of a sold out crowd.

Riding Corbinian Guerdat went clear in both rounds of the final leg of the three-part competition which has been running through the duration of the Gothenburg Horse Show.

As the overnight leader of the competition Guerdat went into the final round on zero penalties, and going clear twice remained that way. Second placed Harrie Smolders from The Netherlands also had two clear rounds to finish just ahead (on time) of Germany's Daniel Deusser. Both had three penalties entering the final round.
