Germany's Daniel Deusser was third in the Longines FEI World Cup jumping final in Gothenburg this afternoon (Monday 28 March) in front of a sold out crowd.

Riding Cornet D'Armour, Deusser went clear in both rounds of the final leg of the three-part competition which has been running through the duration of the Gothenburg Horse Show. Deusser started on three penalties (accumulated over two previous competitions) and, despite those clear rounds, finished behind second placed Harrie Smolders of The Netherlands and champion Steve Guerdat, from Switzerland.
