1. 16 year old Shaunie Grieg became the first rider for 51 years to win back to back Pony Show jumper of the year class with the same Pony Casino Royale the 8th at the Horse of the Year show at the NEC in Birmingham.

The event was first staged in the inaugural year of the horse the year in 1949 and Greig produced a stunning clear round in the jump off to win by 3.52 seconds. Greig was part of the the GB Gold medal winning team European Pony Championships in the summer.
