The Investec World Hockey League semi final came to London this month and LBP were hired to generate coverage to preview the biggest international women’s hockey event of the year.
Lloyd Bell Productions interviewed a number of well known faces including 2012 Olympic Games bronze medallist heroines captain Kate Walsh, Alex Danson and Hannah Macleod but there was also a number of new faces to the squad.
Packages were produced for TV and radio stations with interviews being placed on squad members local stations such as BBC Merseyside, BBC London and BBC Lincolnshire. GV’s of the players training plus interviews also featured on a number of regional news programmes such as ITV Granada, ITV Meridian and ITV Central .
To generate interest LBP adapted the material and pitched it as a feature led story which resulted in more on screen coverage. The total PR of TV slots was £106,161.
