Location: Tokyo, Japan

Tuesday 24th August – Sunday 5th September 2021

21 para athletes from Wales competed for ParalympicsGB at the Tokyo 2020 Summer Paralympic Games. This Welsh contingent contributed 14 medals (4 gold, 3 silver, 7 bronze) to Great Britain’s overall total of 124 (11%).

The LBP team were responsible for:

⛩ Record pre-Tokyo interviews with all 23 Welsh Athletes.
⛩ Edit video interviews, adding Welsh subtitles and BSL footage.
⛩ Create teasers to generate interest around our Welsh athletes.
⛩ Create athlete bios for our micro-site.
⛩ Post across all social media channels.
⛩ Manage all content throughout the games including reactive posts, medal postings, daily schedules and summaries, replying to comments/messages and working with NGB’s to keep on top of all Welsh athlete performances.
