Jockey Sam Waley-Cohen provided one of the greatest “ways to end a sporting career” stories in years by winning the Randox Grand National at Aintree on Noble Yeats, owned by his father. He announced earlier in the week that it would be his final ride before retiring, just days before his 40th Birthday.
LBP provided extensive coverage of all the build-up, including preview packages and interviews with leading contenders such as trainers Willie Mullins and Henry de Bromhead and jockeys Rachael Blackmore and Harry Cobden, with the voice provided by Mike Vince, on his 30th National – and also one of the Race Presenters at the track.
