Allana Clutterbuck enjoyed the biggest win of her career as she took the prestigious Redpost Equestrian Senior foxhunters with a thrilling win on DIRK IV at the horse of the year show at the NEC in Birmingham

Brentwood based Clutterbuck has been competing at the event since the age of 12 for 10 years and has never managed to win a class at the event until Thursday night.

Going last in the 4 rider jump off she produced a brilliant ride to win by nearly a second. The class of the years has been won over the years by some of the biggest names in the sport including John Whitaker in 1981 who Clutterbuck regards as her hero and inspiration.
