HOYS 23 Mark Edwards Lands 1st international class of the week at Horse of the Year Show

Welshman Mark Edwards was in flying form with his 8 year old DILLINGER NE to take the opening Grandstand Welcome Stakes on the 1st day of International show jumping at the Horse of the Year show at the NEC in Birmingham.
Edwards was among the first to go but went clear and stormed around the course in a time of 30.60 to win by 0.15 seconds ahead of Italian Lorenzo de Luca.
