Welshman Mark Edwards has made the perfect start to as he has won the opening 2 classes as the International show jumping got under way at the Horse of the Year Show at the NEC in Birmingham on Friday.

After his win in the Welcome stakes Edwards took the NAEC Stoneleigh stakes on ROYALE TALE. Edwards won with over 3 seconds in hand over his nearest rival with his highly promising 8 year old.

The pair had been successful in lower grade classes 12 months and showed once again the liking for the indoor arena at the NEC
