Ireland's Shane Breen picked up his first win of the week as he and Scarteen blazed their way to success in the Speed Horse of the Year class at the Horse of the Year show at the NEC.

9th to go of the 31 starters they went round in a time of 52.33 to beat Britian's Jodie Hall McAteer by nearly half a second with Paul Barker in 3rd.

Breen was delighted to pick up the win that he has quite a soft spot for.
