Essex rider Hollie Gerken brekaks records at the horsde of theyear show


Hollie Gerken has produced afguably the greatest exhibition of pony riding in the 75 years of the Horse of the Year show

the 14 year old from Colchester has become the first ponyrider to win all 3 classses at the event as she produced a riding masterclass to win the STX-YK pony Foxhunters championship on Friday evening.

Hollie riding 3 pony's in the class got all through to the jump off and with her second ride went clear in a time of 31.96 eventually finishing 5th and 6th with her other 2.

This victory followed on from her triumphs inthe pony newcomers and the leading pony show jumper of the year on Thursday.

This achievement is unlikey to be matched again.
